We Spread Our Wings and Take Our Flight
Full of curiosity, energy, and thirst to learn and grow every day, Montessori Preschool embraces the challenges ahead. Each student folded three paper planes of different sizes, for a total of sixty planes. The canvas shows an organic flying path to emulate the starting point of their precious academic career toward an unknown and exciting future ahead! Their imagination and creativity know no boundaries, and they are ready to set the groundwork for their academic paths! We can’t wait to see where their wings take them!

Kindergarten - Records of Rejoice
Records of Rejoice
This year’s class pays homage to Seattle's rich music scene, and each one-of-a-kind item represents the individuality and special qualities the kindergartners bring to the St. Al’s community. Each child painted their own record using shades of blue and purple. Records have been finished with a shiny coating and are framed. The class chose shades of blue to symbolize knowledge, understanding, integrity, spirituality and peace. The purple shades symbolize ambition and devotion.

1st - Hope For the Future
Hope for the Future: A Water Color Collaboration of Diverse Countries and their Signs of Hope
Our class is blessed to represent a very diverse group of countries. Each child has painted their country-
of-origin flag and the related hope symbol for that country. As these images are joined together, we wish
to convey the message of hope for unity, that despite our differences, we can all work together to
positively impact our world for the better. Through peace our children are the hope for the future.

2nd - Joyful Silhouettes
Joyful Silhouettes: Second Grade
Mrs. Cintron's second graders used water colors in their favorite colors to paint the background of their silhouettes. The beautiful, bright colors and silhouettes were professionally collaged and printed onto a 16x20 canvas, creating a one of a kind representation of the St. Alphonsus 2nd grade class for the 2023-24 school year!

3rd - Raku Happiness Bowl
Raku Happiness Bowl
Introducing our Raku "Happiness" Bowl, derived from the Japanese art of pottery dating back to the 16th century. The bowl is meticulously crafted by the talented hands of our enthusiastic 3rd-grade class. Each student traced their hand out of clay, added colorful Raku glaze and personalized their contribution with a stamp of their name and a heartfelt message about what makes St. Als special to them. The bowl serve as a cherished keepsake of the memories and laughter shared within our school walls. Whether displayed on your mantle or set on your table, our Raku Bowl is a reminder of the joyous moments cherished by our community. Little Free Library by 4th Grade
4th grade is filled with avid readers who have always enjoyed expressing themselves through art. The 4th grade students used tiles to illustrate their favorite book and painted the library these fun vibrant colors! Lastly, the students helped picked some of the books that are included to get the library started! BONUS! Free professional installation is included for the recipient of this piece. Happy Bidding!

Plate Picasso - Decorated Dessert Plates by 5th Grade
The 5th graders used their creativity and love for desserts to create this temping set of 7" dessert plates! Each student carefully drew a favorite dessert item on their respective plate. Aguas De Marco
The 6th graders painted wood slices with watered down acrylic paint in an array of colors. After sketching out the wave pattern, they glued the pieces to the background. Sea glass and sea shells are filled in between the painted wood pieces. This incorporated all of the elements from the beach into this one of a kind piece of art!

Garden Peace Pole
Our 7th graders created a garden masterpiece! This 6 ft Garden Peace Pole has painted birds and butterflies, flowers and leaves contributed by every member of the 7th grade class. It includes the footing needed to plant this in your garden. Our goal for this project was to create art that any family will enjoy and that does not require any valuable wall space.
